    • Description

    Prepare Your Surface Before Painting

Williamsburg Titanium Oil Ground is a professional-quality oil ground made with titanium dioxide and marble dust. Ground in 100% alkali-refined linseed oil, it contains no zinc or alkyd and provides a balanced tooth and absorbency. The formula creates a semi-absorbent, satin finish that’s ideal for prepping surfaces before oil painting.

    Key Features
    • Made with titanium dioxide and marble dust
    • Ground in 100% alkali-refined linseed oil
    • Spreads evenly, lays smooth, and dries quickly
    • Non-toxic and easy to apply
    • Suitable for canvas or linen surfaces
    • Can be thinned with odorless mineral spirits, mineral spirits, or turpentine
    Important Usage Notes
    • Stir well before use to ensure an even consistency
    • Sanding: Never sand lead oil grounds—titanium grounds may be sanded, but always wear a respirator to avoid dust inhalation
    • Dry Time: Allow 2–3 days for each coat to dry. Make sure each layer is dry before adding another. Wait at least two weeks after the final coat before painting
    • Storage: Store any unused, thinned ground for future use. Stir well before reusing
