For All Skill Levels

Use your favorite travel photos as inspiration to create beautiful abstract impressions on canvas. You’ll learn about shapes, composition and color as you create a unique design inspired by your own travel experience. Whether it’s a tranquil day at the shore, an afternoon climbing majestic mountain tops or exploring city streets, we’ll use those images as a springboard to create a design that captures the spirit and essence of your favorite place.

Workshop includes paints and mediums for class use, canvas panel, reference photos to borrow, color wheel, mixed media paper to experiment on and plenty of one on one attention.

Supplies to bring:

Print 3-4 photos that inspire you (cell phone images are too small to use as a reference)

1 stretched canvas or canvas panel (any size between 11×14 and 16×20)

Palette knife

Medium sized brayer

Brushes: A few assorted size brushes (no smaller than 1/4” wide)
