Aqua Pro Panels provide a rigid, medium-textured surface designed for watercolor, gouache, egg tempera, and a variety of other media. The absorbent clay-infused gesso responds much like quality watercolor paper while providing the strength of a solid painting panel.

The unique surface allows traditional and metallic watercolors to maintain their richness and luminosity while supporting techniques such as color lifting and heavy erasing. Unlike paper, the rigid high-density fiberboard will not tear or warp, providing a stable foundation throughout the painting process.

Mixed media artists can use the sturdy surface for layering different materials, attaching found objects, or building collages with paper and other elements. Available in popular ready-made frame sizes, Aqua Pro Panels are also easy to incorporate into finished presentations. For frameless display, an archival fixative or varnish can be applied to help protect the artwork.
